This planter is unpolished, with overall oxidation and dark tarnish across the surface, heavier in the recessed folds of each flute. That's age, not anything I've cleaned or treated away. The scalloped, wavy edge of the rim is the intended shape of the piece, not damage or loss, each flute simply comes to its own soft point. I don't see dents, splits, or repairs anywhere on the body or the foot. The underside carries a cluster of small hand-punched marks I haven't been able to identify or attribute, noted here for transparency rather than as a flaw.
