[condition] The volume is solid and fully intact, with a sturdy spine and a firm binding that opens and closes securely with no loose pages. The marbled boards show rubbing and surface wear consistent with age, including areas where the pattern has thinned. The calf spine and corners have gentle rubbing throughout, and the raised bands remain well defined. Internally, the pages show age toning and light foxing, with occasional small stains and a watermark to the upper margin of the opening leaves.
