Antique Ebonized Wood & Mother-of-Pearl Vanity Tabletop Mirror

19th century, in ebonized hardwood with mother-of-pearl inlay, likely made for the European market during the late Qing dynasty. The beveled glass swivels within a frame supported on turned spindles, the frame is inlaid with delicate floral work, and the crest is carved with stylized creatures, possibly qilin or guardian lions. The base carries openwork carving. The reverse retains its original wooden back panel with aged markings, likely workshop or inventory notations. Small in scale, suited to a dressing table or for styling a vignette.

One leg has damage to the back foot and swivels slightly due to a loose screw connection. The original back panel shows a visible crack and separation in the wood along with period-appropriate markings. An honest, well-preserved example with expected antique wear.
