[condition] A very attractive and well-kept copy in a later fine binding. The leather spine and corners remain tidy, with light wear consistent with age and shelving. Boards are secure, the spine gilt remains bright, and the marbled endpapers present nicely. The pages show mild age toning and scattered light foxing throughout, as expected for a volume of this age. An ownership inscription and bookplate appear to the front matter and are noted here for accuracy. Overall a sound, clean, and visually strong copy with good shelf presence.
