[condition] The binding presents well overall with bright color and crisp gilt on both the front cover and spine. Visible wear includes fraying and exposure of the underlying material along the spine edges where the leather meets the boards, most pronounced at the head and tail of the spine and along the front and rear hinges. The corners show rubbing with minor exposure at the tips. The text block edges remain bright with all edges gilt intact.
