The pot is structurally sound. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines, and no restoration anywhere on the body, rim, or foot.

The black glaze carries natural firing variation, which is how this glaze behaves in the kiln and is not damage. There are water spots and light mineral deposits across the glossy surface from years of use as a planter, most visible under strong direct light and much less noticeable in a room. The unglazed terracotta at the base and around the drainage hole shows the wear you would expect from a pot that has held soil, including darkening and soil staining soaked into the clay. None of it affects how the pot sits or drains.

The interior retains soil residue consistent with use. It can be rinsed, though staining in the unglazed clay is permanent.
