Vintage Evans 100 Ft Retractable Surveyor Tape Measure Leather Case

Evans White Tape 100-foot surveyor's tape in a leather-cased body with a plated center and steel blade, made by the Evans Rule Company, with Elizabeth, New Jersey and Montreal, Quebec named on the maker's dial. Field tapes of this kind lived in jobsite bags before plastic cases took over. It retracts smoothly and still works as a measuring tool, and its clean, graphic form suits a desk, bookshelf, or coffee table stack.
