Burcol Dry Lechoso Chickpeas, 1kg
Burcol Dry Lechoso Chickpeas are a premium Spanish chickpea variety prized for their large size, creamy texture and delicate, almost milky flavour. Grown in Spain, the name lechoso literally means "milky" and these chickpeas are certainly an upgrade to many standard varieties.
Lechoso chickpeas are thinner-skinned and noticeably creamier in texture, while still holding their shape beautifully. They absorb flavour exceptionally well, making them ideal for slow-cooked dishes.
How to Cook Dried Chickpeas

- Soak overnight in plenty of water (at least three times their volume).
- Drain and rinse again.
- Cover with plenty of fresh water and bring to a gentle simmer.
