[condition] The binding is sturdy and the red morocco retains good depth of color, with expected rubbing to the joints, spine bands, and corners. The gilt on the spine and board borders remains bright and well preserved. The text block is solid, with gilt edges showing mild age toning and some light dust soiling to the top edge. Internally, pages are clean overall with gentle age toning and foxing in places, most notably around the frontispiece and title page. A very good copy for its age.
